Terms of Service — Built by Asteris
By using Built by Asteris (including Plan, Forge, Bank, and any other apps under the Built by Asteris brand), you agree to these terms. They're meant to be plain — if anything's unclear, email service@builtbyasteris.com.
Scope of these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Built by Asteris application and all of its constituent apps:
- Plan — social media scheduling, brand voice scoring, and multi-platform publishing (including TikTok integration via the Built by Asteris developer registration)
- Forge — content transformation from source material into platform-native posts
- Bank — idea capture and AI Council synthesis
Built by Asteris is the operating brand and registered application name for our software, owned and operated by WOW Enterprise Company (My Cosmic Message Pty Ltd, ABN 30 652 358 159). References below to "we", "us", "our", or "the service" mean Built by Asteris and the apps listed above.
1. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Don't share your account. You must not use the service to send spam, publish illegal content, infringe third-party rights, or attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the platform.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your content
You own everything you create on Built by Asteris — posts produced in Plan, brand voice profiles, Bank ideas, Forge transforms, and all related content. We do not claim any rights over your content.
We process your content to deliver the service. We do not:
- Use your content to train AI models
- Share your content with third parties except service providers required to run the platform
- Sell or license your content to anyone
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store, and transmit your content solely to deliver the service you've requested.
3. Billing

| Overages | We don't auto-charge. Soft warning at 80%, hard cap at 100%. Top-up packs available. |
| Refunds | No pro-rated refunds for the current billing period. Access remains until period end. |
| Downgrades | Take effect at the end of the current billing period. No mid-cycle refund — you keep full access on your current plan until the period ends, then move to the lower tier on the next renewal. |
| Upgrades | Take effect immediately. Stripe pro-rates the difference for the remainder of the current billing period. |
| Disputes | Email service@builtbyasteris.com — we resolve genuine billing errors same day. |
4. Service availability
We target 99.5% uptime. Scheduled maintenance is announced 24 hours in advance. We don't make a zero-downtime promise, but we aim to schedule maintenance outside Australian business hours.
We're not liable for interruptions caused by third-party services (hosting, payment, authentication, transcription, and AI providers) beyond our reasonable control.
5. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your content, voice profiles, and account data are purged, and your Stripe subscription is cancelled in the same call.
We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or threaten the integrity of the platform. We'll give reasonable notice where possible, except for immediate security threats.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months immediately before the claim arose.
We're not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — even if we were advised of the possibility.
7. Intellectual property
The Built by Asteris name, brand, application code, and documentation — including the Plan, Forge, and Bank apps — are owned by WOW Enterprise Company. You're granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own lawful purposes. You may not reproduce, resell, or create derivative works from the platform itself.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, unless we mutually agree to another resolution process.
9. Changes to these terms
Material changes are emailed to all active account holders 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with a material change, you may cancel your account before the change takes effect.
